Tradition – /trəˈdiSH(ə)n/ – (noun)
the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way.
Historically Black Colleges & Universities annually produce graduates who take great pride in their institution. School pride is not uncommon but it takes on a life of it’s own when you come from an HBCU campus. Homecomings at HBCUs have reached mythical status as alumni from all over the country travel back to their alma mater to celebrate their love.
400 E. Main St is the location of Kentucky State University, one of only two HBCUs in the state of Kentucky. KSU was established in 1886 in Frankfort, KY. Where there is only one answer to the question “Who you with?” Where Da Trap was created and Da Butt will never die. Where we sing Hail to our alma mater, Dear is her name. On this campus, regular students become Thorobreds for life. These garments are made to help you represent your love for family, higher learning and tradition everyday but especially on Homecoming.
